Portland International Airport (PDX)

Portland International Airport is one of the largest airports in Portland, Oregon. It was also voted the best airport in the U.S. in 2013. PDX is located 9 miles northeast of downtown Portland, so if you have some spare time, make your way there.
PDX has free Internet, a sandwich shop that is open 24 hours, and great restaurants to eat at throughout its terminals.
If you want to stay over night then look into staying at one of these hotels: Radisson Hotel Portland Airport, Ramada Portland Airport, and Red Lion Hotel Portland Airport.
The airport offers ATMs/cash machines, car rentals, children’s play area, currency exchange, food and drinks, and luggage storage and lockers.
PDX has a TriMet MAX Light Rail that will connect you to downtown Portland, Beaverton, Clackamas, Gresham, Hillsboro, and North/Northeast Portland. The hours are 4:58 AM- 11:49 PM (Mon.-Fri.) and 5:04 AM- 11:49 PM (Sat.- Sun.). The fare is $2.35. PDX also offers taxis and shuttle buses. The shuttle that is provided is the Downtown Airport Express by Blue star. It runs every 30 minutes and costs 14 dollars for a one-way ticket and 24 dollars for a round-trip ticket to downtown. There are other shuttles available for different areas and most airport hotels have a free shuttle service.
